The big news in Mountain Biking over the last few years has been the emergence of the 29′er. With their larger diameter wheel and reduced angle of attack 29″ mountain bikes roll smoothly across terrain. Compared to a 26″ MTB it’s an immediately noticeable WOW factor. 29′ers gobble up XC trails with minimal effort, with added rider confidence.

For a variety of reasons not everyone in the mountain biking community are fans of 29′ers but the big wheels are becoming increasingly popular, and are here to stay.
